Olena + Cheryl + their Ohana's - Yokahama's Beach Park, Makaha, Hawai'i

I knew after having met Olena and Cheryl for a consultation that their photo shoot would be sooo much fun. We agreed upon tons and tons of paint  and lots of adorable children ( we didn't bring extra kids in for the shoot, the kiddies are all theirs : )
Yokahama's is an absolutely beautiful beach all the way at the end of the highway on the west side. It feels like your coming up to the end of the world when the highway stops and all that's in front of you is a incredibly bumpy dirt road. Originally being from Texas it is so weird to see a highway just abruptly end. That's when I realize I'm stuck on a rock (a lovely rock for that matter).
It was pretty obvious that I chose the hottest beach on the island. I watched the sun rise right on top of me while it baked my poor pale skin. I probably lost three pounds to just sweating. I'm sure you all wanted to know that.
After both families arrived and started piling out of their cars I saw something big and bright red in the back of the Olena's truck. Oh goody. I just saw a glimpse of it because they had packed so much stuff for the shoot (now that's what I call prop dedication). It was a bright red love seat perfect for sitting in the middle of the brown field next to us. Just to fill everyone in I like normal everyday things in unusual places..like a sofa in a field and other things that will be in future shoots (haha, can't give all my ideas away : )
All in all I had a great time with both families and enjoyed seeing how much fun they had together. They have the friendship that will last a lifetime. Here is just a smidgen of their photos:
