Brave Puppy

As I was playing with my new camera Max kept looking at me with those big puppy dog eyes and whimpering at my feet. I moved the camera towards him in an attempt to see if he was still scared. Nothing. Just more of the whimpering and then set his head on my knee. Normally my puppy Max is terrified of my camera and the lens that protrudes from it. Just last week he snarled and barked incredibly loud when I took pictures of him in our living room. He was scared. The second I got near him he would dart off like a bullet. But not today. He just stared. So of course in my mind that was an open invitation to take pictures of sweet little Max, even if he doesn't know it. I've been dying to take puppy pictures with this new camera of mine. I don't think I will ever be as good as Steve Czerniak, at least not yet, not until I have photographed my share of pooches. With Max's adorable face, could it really be that hard? Let's just hope he is in the same happy/brave mood when I do decide to shoot.
